friendly clean hotel, and very receptive to wet motorcyclists !! Also convenient for train to Pompeii and not far from Sorrento town. Our room was quiet, looking down into the garden with the Med and Mount Etna beyond. Would stay again if in that area

A very good 3 star hotel, with rooms spotlessly cleaned every day. Excellent views of mount Vesuvious and the Bay of Naples. Quiet pool area so plenty of available seats and a little bar with snacks available. We tried the Davids No. 1 which was lovely. Staff all very polite and friendly and overall stay very good. We got room 38 which was at the rear of the hotel but would not stay at the front as there is a busy road running right past the hotel which can be quite noisy especially form the scooters which seem to get everywhere.We found a little quiet path immediately outside the hotel which avoids some of the narrow footpaths alongside the busy road.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Girasole. Thank you for the recommendations for restaurants (we really enjoyed the Moonlight, and the one overlooking the water) and also for the help with getting to Pompeii and Capri. If you have stayed there you already know; if you are looking for a faboulous place to stay in Sorrento, stay at the Girasole. I have spent the last 3 decades of my life traveling the world and I can tell you that there has never been a more welcome experience for me than staying at the Girasole.
